Scientific directions:
Theoretical and practical foundations of assessment, analysis, forecasting and protection against the negative acoustic impact of urban development. Assessment of the state of architectural monuments. Assessment of the state of environmental safety of residential premises. Reconstruction and renovation of infrastructure facilities of cities. Landscaping and greening of urban and recreational areas.

Employment:
Since 1981, he worked as a senior engineer of the self-supporting group of the Department of Urban Construction of the Institute of Civil Engineering, and until 1985 studied at the correspondence postgraduate course at the Department of Urban Engineering of the Institute of Civil Engineering. Since 1982, he worked as a junior and senior researcher of the budget group of the department of urban construction of the DIBI. In 1989, he was elected an assistant at the Department of Architecture. In 1993, he was elected an associate professor of the Department of Architecture (the academic title was confirmed by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in 1998). Full member of the International Academy of Life Safety (2006). Corresponding member of the Academy of Construction of Ukraine (2015). He conducts scientific research in the field of urban ecology, is the developer of the current DBN., DSTU.
