Features of agricultural production management in modern conditions

Abstract

The article is answered to the current and discussed scientific and practical and applied question at the present stage of agricultural development "What are the peculiarities of agricultural production management in modern conditions"? Management as a type of activity is characterized. The peculiarities of agricultural production management, taking into account such elements as significant dependence on natural conditions as the seasonality of production, as well as such a peculiarities of production of agricultural products as that the objects of production are living organisms (plants and animals) and most products of the industry can quickly spoil or lose their consumer properties. It is also determined that the peculiarity of agricultural production, and therefore management, is that most products of the industry are subject to further processing. It is indicated that agricultural production is one of the key factors of the country's security. It is stated that the current level of organization of management in agriculture generally does not meet the modern challenges of a market economy, which directly affects the efficiency of the industry. A special feature of the current stage of improving the management system is the lack of proper integration between new forms of production and management and their real content. It is emphasized that improving the efficiency of management activity is one of the most pressing tasks, the solution of which contributes to the stable position of enterprises in the market and their economic development.The article also states that in the field of agricultural production, the organization of management work is influenced by numerous factors, such as the nature of the socio-political structure, types of property and specificity of the agricultural sector of the economy. The peculiarities of agriculture as an industry that determine the specificity of management cycles and activities of specialists in management, which is directly related to the performance of universal basic, typical and specialized functions, are analyzed. It is stated that the implementation of management functions by agricultural enterprises is ensured through the use of adequate methods, which include information support, analysis, goals, planning, organization, management and control.
