Information technology as a factor in increasing the efficiency of enterprise management

Abstract

The article summarizes the theoretical principles of studying the impact of information technologies on the efficiency of enterprise management. It has been established that in the near future, all business processes, interaction between business structures and stakeholders, as well as markets for all resources will undergo a radical transformation in the process of adapting to the requirements of modern digital technologies and information systems. Today, it is practically impossible for any domestic enterprise to gain competitive advantages over competitors without implementing modern digital and information technologies. The process of using digital technologies and artificial intelligence contributes to the formation of new prospects for business development by connecting to digital global value chains, forming new sales markets, and accelerating the process of introducing innovative products to international markets. It has been proven that to ensure optimal operation of Ukrainian producers, it is necessary to intensify the process of using digital and information technologies. Digitalization involves the use of information and communication technologies by management personnel based on the potential capabilities of the modern IT industry, aimed at transforming the established management paradigm in order to achieve strategically important goals for the functioning of business entities. It has been proven that in the face of modern challenges and threats, domestic entrepreneurs have managed to turn information technologies into a new opportunity for developing their own business. It was found that the process of implementing information technologies in the business activities of an enterprise also has negative consequences. They consist in increasing the level of risks associated with modern technologies, in particular, information risks, which makes it necessary to develop effective methods for managing them. It has been established that the priorities of digital transformation of business entities are directly related to the quality of information technologies, the level of trust of production and management personnel in the stability of business processes, as well as the integration of Ukrainian business into the international market.
